Residential Tree Program – Free Tree Giveaway!
Join Columbus Parks and Recreation for our Residential Tree Program on April 30th from 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM at the Columbus Community Building (Idea Box)!
This educational course, led by Kelly Feehan, UNL Extension Educator, will cover proper tree care to help ensure your trees thrive for years to come. At the end of the course, participants will receive a free tree to plant in their front yard or right-of-way!
This program is made possible by the 2023 Inflation Reduction Act Urban and Community Forestry Grant through the Nebraska Forestry Service.
Who can participate?
Columbus residents only (per grant requirements).
